Less than a 1 hur drive away is The National Botanic Garden of Wales. The Garden covers 568 acres of Carmarthenshire countryside and includes a nature reserve as well as a formal garden, with Lord Foster’s Great Glasshouse as its centrepiece.

Spectacularly set in the beautiful Tywi valley of Carmarthenshire, less than an hours drive from our cottages is Aberglasney. The stunning house House features one of the finest gardens in Wales. Aberglasney Gardens have been an inspiration to poets since 1477. The story of Aberglasney spans many centuries, but, the house's origins are still shrouded in obscurity.
See bottlenose dolphins, Atlantic grey seals, seal pups, harbour porpoises, sea-birds, rare choughs and skylarks. Meet all our friendly farm animals including Dilwyn the donkey, pigs, sheep, goats, rare breed cattle, Shetland ponies, Welsh mountain ponies and rabbits.

Just over a one hour very pretty drive from your cottage you will find the Centre for Alternative Technology. With over 7 acres of hands-on displays and gardens and with over 40 years of experience in sustainability practice, the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) inspires thousands of visitors every year.
The Ceredigion Coast Path follows the spectacular and varied coastline of Cardigan Bay on the west coast of Wales. Stunning scenery, picturesque villages and a wealth of wildlife - including the highest numbers of dolphin sightings in the UK - make Ceredigion a perfect place for some coastal walking.
