On the ground floor of this cosy west Wales holiday cottage, you’ll find a large open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining room, with a large log fire and central heating throughout. There are two comfortable leather couches to snuggle up in front of the fire, with footstools and cushions too! The cottage is also equipped with digital TV, DVD, iPod dock and CD player.
The kitchen is handmade with an integrated ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave and fridge. It is well equipped for even the most ambitious chef! Free Wi-Fi access is also provided for your convenience.
The dining table with a window seat is ideally located for the budding artist or those who just like to sit and watch the countless birds (including woodpeckers). You might also spot the squirrels who feed just outside the large coach house window!
Upstairs is a large, pretty bedroom with exposed A-frames, an ultra-comfy king-size bed and even a fantastic double-ended roll-top bath. There is also a separate en-suite shower room with an electric shower.
With antique furniture and a wealth of homely touches, Y Cartws is a romantic west Wales hideaway with peace and tranquility guaranteed!

We accept payment via cheque, bank transfer or debit or credit card. Details of payment are included in your booking confirmation e-mail.

We can honestly say this is one of the best holidays we have ever had and this absolutely lovely cottage is a huge part of that! We have felt so relaxed here, just what we needed. Llangrannog is such a beautiful place and the surrounding areas a delight too. But coming back to a soak in the rolltop bath and a lovely log fire just made it very special indeed.

A wonderful place to relax and unwind. The cottage is beautiful and and has everything you need. loved having breakfast whilst watching the birds on the birdfeeder: bluetit, chaffinch, nuthatch, wrens and woodpecker.
Llangrannog is beautiful, with great icecream at the Caffi Patio! Lovely walk along the coastal path with amazing scenery.

What a perfetc cosy retreat! Spent an amazing week in this well-equipped cottage. Lots of roaring log fires, plenty of fresh air taking the dogs to all the loal beaches. Been to the area before but this visit has far outshone previous. Wig Farm is perfect, from the beautiful setting to the hosts Norma & James. Such lovely greetings when our paths crossed, friendly yet not intrusive, a safe place of peace and welcome.
We never tire of visiting the bays which vary in mood with the weather. Which has been lovely too! Surfing, canoeing, swimming, walking, paddling, people watching! Watching the progress of a seal pup and mothering skills of Mum have been a real highlight. And another one born yesterday. Llangrannog is stunning in low tide and in rough seas! Come & explore & enjoy!
