Y Beudy is an idyllic Welsh coastal cottage in a sensational setting, providing total peace and quiet.
The spacious ground floor provides an open plan lounge and kitchen diner with a large inglenook fireplace and lovely cosy log fire. The two comfortable sofas surround the fire, making it the perfect place to snuggle up in any weather! There’s a smart digital TV as well as a DVD/CD player, docking station and plenty of books and games. Free Wi-Fi access is also provided.
The handmade pine kitchen is extremely well equipped and has an integrated ceramic hob, fan oven, microwave and fridge. There is plenty of worktop space and of course, lots of storage space too.
Beautiful beamed ceilings, solid wood flooring and lots of original features all add to the wonderful character of the cottage. An open pine staircase leads up to the bedroom with exposed beams, A-frames and a wealth of homely touches. There is a very comfortable king-size bed as well as a very traditional curtained double size box bed, which is a great hideaway for the little ones!
There is also a wonderful double-ended roll-top bath at one end of the bedroom which is ideal for that very luxurious candlelit soak.
The separate en-suite shower room has a spacious cubicle with an electric shower. Y Beudy has full central heating throughout which, along with that beautiful log fire and stunning setting, makes an ideal cosy hideaway in any weather.

What a lovely cosy home from home! Lovely week visiting lots of local dog-friendly beaches. Walked to Llangrannog & had a lovely meal in the Pentre Arms, Enjoyed Cream Tea at the Plwmp Tart. Cwmtydu beach is a little bit of paradise. Having Wig Farm as a base meant nothing was too far away and we loved the Welsh countryside. Our first visit to these parts, won't be the last. Thank you for a fabulous homely holiday cottage.

Lovely cosy cottage with a great log burner. Bed very comfortable and superb bath for relaxing soak. Directions for walks v.accurate. Loved Penbryn beach and Llangrannog sunsets. Lovely ancient Church and beach at Mwnt. Really enjoyed sitting in y Beudy garden and watching the great variety of birds visiting all the feeders and bird tables. A lovely peaceful spot. Thank you

Just what we needed. Cottage is first class, complete with everything you'd ever need, a home away from home. Warm, cosy clean, comfortable, peaceful and lots of birdlife to watch on the feeders. We have enjoyed fabulous beach walks, fish & chips on Aberaeron harbour in the sun. Lovely cosy woodburner, enjoyed the cottage so much we spent an entire day simply relaxing, cooking, chilling out with our furry companion. Already looking forward to returning, thank you!

Fantastic Holiday. Wig Farm is gorgeous. Owners just brilliant. The walk to Llangrannog from cottage is just lovely. Penbryn was our favourite beach. Plwmp Tart Cafe excellent. Everywhere just stunning.

A lovely cosy little cottage in lovely beautiful surroundings. We needed somewhere escape the hustle & bustle of our daily lives and we found it! Norma & James made us feel really welcome. We went to the local beaches with the dogs and they absolutely loved it here. We will definitely miss Y Beudy and the surroundings of Wig Farm and the goats too!

Norma & James took great care of us. Made reservations for us in the pubs and restaurants. We’ve had a marvellous time with sightseeing, beaches, swimming. Dolphins could be seen at Aberporth. Y Beudy was comfortable and very quiet. We’ve enjoyed the wonderful pond and the birds picking & singing. If you hear something rustling and crackling in the morning it’s the squirrel eating hazelnuts! Many thanks to Norma & james, Goodbye Y Beudy.

We have felt very at home here. We have spent a wonderful week discovering the local area, mostly on foot. We recommend:
- Walking the coastal path in both directions! We saw dolphins on the path from Cwmtydu to New Quay.
- Pizza in llangrannog and ice cream from the patio café
- Visiting this time of year for the foxgloves

"A piece of heaven!"
A piece of heaven is the only way to describe this place! Cosy cottage and beautiful gardens, fields and woodlands. We have been made to feel so very welcome by Norma & James, they are so helpful.
The weather has been lovely for several days then chilly. The woodburner is excellent. We have slept well in the comfy bed and feel nicely relaxed after days of walking the woods and beaches around the area.
Our Cocker spaniel has had a delightful holiday running so freely in the grounds, woods and beaches. We shall be back to this idyllic Wig farm next year. Thank you

We have had the most amazing stay here, it is beautiful, can’t find fault with anything! We have a 7 month old, the bath was perfect for him and me! The beaches nearby are beautiful and so much to do! Our dog loved the fire, the farm is amazing and our baby loved the goats. James and Norma are welcoming and nice to chat with. Our second visit and it didn’t disappoint! Lovely peaceful stay, love the cottage and the woodburner. Explored the area a bit more this time and we have fallen even more in love with west wales! Devils Bridge was wonderful, not for the faint hearted but we did it! Even Sven the chihuahua made it down and up those steep steps! The week has passed all too quickly as we knew it would and we are already planning our next visit! Thanks Norma & James for another wonderful stay!

Loved our stay here. The cottage is cosy and well-equipped and so peaceful! We both slept incredibly well. Loved the Woodburner and birdfeeder right outside the window. We even saw a woodpecker muscle its way on. Really enjoyed the walk from wig farm to Llangrannog, coastal path down & woodland path back. Sadly didn’t get to do as much walking as we would have liked as we had a poorly dog. We have visited the area before and enjoyed the coastal paths. Also recommend:
- Pizza in llangrannog, delicious!
- Cake & Hot Chocolate in the patio café Llangrannog also great
- New Quay was a great place to hideout during storm Ciaran and good place to pick up the coastal path.
