The local area

Our Cottages are all situated within walking distance of the stunning Heritage protected Coastline of Cardigan Bay. We are surrounded by miles of both inland and Cliff Walks. There are several stunning beaches nearby including Llangrannog, New Quay, Cwmtydu as well as Penbryn, Tresaith, Aberporth and Mwnt to the South.

This area is a haven for Wildlife and those those who enjoy it! Amongst the abundant birdlife Woodpeckers, Buzzards, Woodcock, Goldfinches, Red Kite and the Grey Heron! are regularly seen around. We also get an occasional glimpse of the Kingfisher as he checks out the ponds for dinner! From the cliffs Cormorants, Peregrine Falcon, Chough, Skylarks and Kittiwakes are regularly spotted. Foxes, Badgers, Rabbits, Cheeky Squirrels and Polecat reside on and around Wig Farm. Bottle-nosed dolphin and Atlantic Grey seal are regularly spotted along the Coast. This photo of a Mother and baby Dolphin was taken recently just off the headland at Llangrannog!
